Manitowoc Foodservice, comprising some of the world's leading brands in food equipment, has extended its web platform to include mobile and now supports over 27 brands across multiple countries with a diverse range of products.

03.29.2011 - London, March 29th 2011 Manitowoc Foodservice today announced it has released the latest version of its brand content managed website in partnership with web and mobile development experts Adactus Ltd. With operations in the Americas, Europe and Asia, Manitowoc is now able to serve their web and mobile content for its diverse range of food service brands across the globe whilst still enabling each local operating company to offer local product and content variations to corporate Manitowoc content.

Manitowoc Foodservice chose to work with Adactus Ltd based in Thame, Oxfordshire as they were able to provide a system that brought all Manitowoc's operating companies under one solution to provide a cost effective and centrally managed system such that security and data policies are adhered to. The look-and-feel of the global design is consistently applied thus ensuring compliance with the group's branding guidelines as a whole whilst also displaying the content in web or mobile friendly formats for most mobile devices. Customers on the move can access product catalogues, product downloads, sales and service locators from their iPhones, Android devices and other smartphones.

The Adactus content management system gives Manitowoc significant efficiency and cost saving benefits when managing multiple regional web sites centrally whilst allowing day-to-day content and data management to be devolved to the local operating companies. The system has the flexibility to ensure that each operating company has complete control over their content.

Support overheads are greatly reduced through the use of the Adactus content management system which minimises the time it takes to update the group's web sites.
